TwoAligned is a tool — not therapy
TwoAligned is a structured conversation tool. It helps two people see where they agree, where they differ, and how to talk about it. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, or therapy of any kind, and it is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Using TwoAligned does not create a therapist–client, doctor–patient, or any other professional relationship. We are not a health service and we do not employ or supervise health practitioners.
No diagnosis, no treatment
TwoAligned does not diagnose, treat, monitor, prevent, or predict any medical or mental-health condition, in you, your partner, or your relationship. Nothing in a report is a clinical score, assessment, or prognosis. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, see a qualified health professional — start with your GP.
Best used alongside a professional
TwoAligned works best with professional support, not instead of it. If you are working through real difficulty, we recommend using your report together with a registered psychologist (in Australia, registered with the Psychology Board via AHPRA) or an accredited couples or relationship counsellor. The report can be a useful starting map for those sessions — it is never a substitute for them. When a report says something needs a professional, please take that seriously.

Reports are AI-assisted
Your written report is generated with the help of artificial intelligence, from the answers you and your partner give. We work hard on its quality, but AI-generated text can be incomplete, imprecise, or wrong for your situation. Read it as a well-prepared conversation starter, not as an authority. The statistics quoted in reports describe research populations — they are not predictions about you.
If you are under 18
TwoAligned is built for adults. The couple assessment is strictly 18+. The only place a person under 18 can take part is the parent–teen family conversation, for ages 13–17, inside a family group that a parent or guardian has set up and consented to — and it should be used with that adult's ongoing supervision and involvement, not alone. If anything in a family conversation is distressing, a teen in Australia can call Kids Helpline — 1800 55 1800, free, 24/7.
TwoAligned is not a crisis service
Nobody monitors your answers in real time, and no one will contact you in response to what you write. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000 (Australia) — 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, 112 across the EU. For crisis support in Australia:
- Lifeline — 13 11 14, 24/7 · lifeline.org.au
- Beyond Blue — 1300 22 4636, 24/7 · beyondblue.org.au
- 1800RESPECT (domestic, family and sexual violence) — 1800 737 732, 24/7 · 1800respect.org.au

Your decisions are your own
A report never tells you to stay, leave, marry, separate, or make any other life decision — and it could not responsibly do so. Any decision you make after reading a report is yours, and we encourage you to make significant relationship decisions with professional support.
